Conference Exhibitors

A peek at the marketplace...

NNETESOL proudly hosts two conferences a year to provide networking and professional development opportunities for ESOL teachers working with English Language Learners (ELLs) at all educational levels. Each year we attract a variety of exhibitors from small regional publishers like Pro Lingua Associates in Brattleboro, Vermont, to larger educational publishing companies like Pearson Longman.  These publishers display the latest teaching materials and teacher resources in the field--textbooks, leveled readers, CDs, games, dictionaries, and professional literature.

During the conference publishing representatives talk with participants about their materials, listen to the needs and wants of practicing ESOL teachers in northern New England, answer questions and welcome feedback about their materials. Past exhibitors have included publishing companies, higher education institutions, individual teachers who are marketing a particular product, and non-profit institutions. Below is a list of exhibitors from the most recent conference:

1. Benchmark Education, Janice Lopes
2. HMH Publishing (which includes Great Source, Steck-Vaughn, and Rigby), Donna Coon
3. Pro Lingua Associates, Ray Clark
4. Alta Book Publishers, Lou Karger
5. Cambridge University Press, Donna Lee Kennedy
