The goal of this conference is to bring together a group of individuals that share a common interest in language teaching. We hope to expand and develop participants’ understanding of second language acquisition, while also enriching our ability to be effective teachers. We have the pleasure of hosting Thomas Farrell as our keynote speaker.
Call for Papers:
The graduate students of St. Michael’s TESOL program are looking for anyone interested in presenting, informing, and sharing ideas related to language teaching and learning. Areas of interest may include but are not limited to the following:
- Second Language Teaching
- Reflective Teaching Practices
- Classroom Engagement Methods
- Promoting Classroom Interaction
- Generating Engaging Material
All proposals must be submitted online here.
Each session lasts 45 minutes long with 35 minutes for presentations and 10 minutes for questions and discussions. Presenters may share research or demonstrate best practices. Rooms are equipped with computers, sound, internet, and projectors.
Registration will be complimentary for all presenters.
