Resettled into Poverty
Mary Ann Zehr reported on a poll of Iraqi refugees resettled into the U.S. I particularly like the comment left below the article, that it really is perspective fuling the complaints. Yes, refugees have it hard. They all do. But because our Iraqi refugees come from educated backgrounds, they tend to be able to alert others to their plight. This might be a wake-up call for all of us to figure out how we can better accommodate those people we choose as a country to resettle...
